Basically a curbside kit has no engine. The Fujimi NSX doesn't, it just has a one-piece relief that can only be paint detailed. The Revell and Tamiya NSX's are full detail, w/full engines, not just molded in relief detail.

Based on my limited knowledge, it could be entered in both classes, but it won't fare well against models with real engine and full chassis detail.

People have been known to build a model w/o detailing the engine, and gluing the hood shut, and that's legal for curbside. You just look at the model-no getting in/under it.

Do you mean the standard NSX? Because the NSX-R has engine detail molded in relief:

One piece that requires paint detailing. Counts for curbside in my book

That's exactly what I mean. I don't know what I expect Fujimi to do...

*Include existing 'engine detail' even when it won't be visible?
*Alter tool to remove 'engine detail?' (and leave a gap in the tree? and include some other option?)
