BTW, I voted for the Toyota, it's the best to choose from IMO.

You're kidding when you say Venture right??? Probably the worst choice one can make when buying a van- even the Renault Espace is more reliable (Source JD Power: Survey UK 2001)besides that the engine is horrible and the ride choppy. The Chrysler Voyager on the other hand is an excellent choice and very classy

The Plymouth Voyager was renamed Chrysler Voyager in the US in early 2001. In Europe, it's always been the Chrysler Voyager.

Clearly the Honda Odyssey,
Why?

Underneath its still a Honda Accord, and so rides and handles the most like a car out of the lot, after all with only four of you dont really need a Mini-Van, to get one of the larger truck based one's is rather a waste.

and, you can stick the Prelude engine in it

will she let you get a wagon? Those are much more sporting, I think, and they can haul quite a few people, generally. An Audi S6 Avant sounds pretty good, eh?

Hmm that's funny i seem to have detailed a car off the new Chrysler AND Plymoth lot called the Chrysler Town and Country, and another called a Plymoth Voyager, it was all in my head though it couldn't have been real right.....

yeah, i was tryin to convince her to get an audi a6 avant wagon or a volvo v70 cross country wagon or even another SUV like the honda pilot or a land cruiser. but she insists on a minivan. it's too late now. we just bought a brand new odyssey. i wanted the new sienna but we got a good deal on the odyssey. it's a pretty nice van

Re: much to my dismay, my wife wants a minivan

If you drive it too, and you are not a slow driving person, why the Odyssey not MPV? The MPV has less power, but guess what? The MPV is much easier to control and faster. And don't even think about the Sienna, you know why? Premium, right, it feeds premium if you need not the basic model.
