one thing to remember...
trucks are light too... yes a 4x4 is heavier, but it has awd traction... everyone thinks that trucks are slow... but wtf? have you driven one? they are light and rwd... that is advantageous... and, find the power to weight ratios... that is what matters...
then the driver comes in...
trucks have truck trannies... but if he knows how to drive it... then they become more equal...
it is just funny b/c everyone thinks that since one is a car and the other a truck the car is god.

i have 94 s10 w/ a v6 and stick and i routinely clean up on camaros and f birds...
and my lude is quicker yes, but they are closely matched... it wouldnt be a blowout...

Flywsi- Yeah ive driven 4x4dragons tacoma and it is fast ...its no where near slow ....but i've never driven hondacsi SI ...It will be a good race no matter what anyone else gonna put their predictions on whos gonna win ?

Chris, to be accurate, if you were to beat me that bad(doubtful), you would specifically see my front skid plate since my truck sits so much higher than your civic, hehehehe!

Honestly, whoever wins, I don't think they will be seeing the other in the rear view mirror. The only way I can see one of us beating the other that bad is if one of us mis-shifts. We'll see though. I went out to the light at the High School friday night and practiced a bit.:sun:

Hey, we may want to get some spotters in both directions to lookout for other cars/cops. Preferablly somone with a CB to let me know(i have a cb) if they see a cop while we're in the middle of racing, you know what I mean???

Come on Big Herm, I showed you some video clips didn't I???? Remember that S10 vs. Supra?? It was either an S10 with a v8 dropped in it or something or I thought it was a Cyclone. The Supra got about a 1 second jump on the s10 and the s10 still just passed the Supra and pulled in front of him!!!!!!! Funny!

Word to the wise though, I don't care about no Crappy F*rd Lightning, but beware of the GMC Cyclone(s10)!!!!! Fasted production truck EVER! 0-60 in under 5 seconds(like 4.8). and it had all wheel drive and it was an Automatic.!!!! Man, i want one!:alien:

i believe that the truck in that vid had a v8 in it... if you watch the way it lifted, it was not similar to anything with awd, and the syclone has diff body cladding... no chrome either.
v8 s10s are hella quick... you can make em just as quick as a syclone...
i just dont remember if the syclone had a turbo 4.3 or the buick gnx motor... a turbo 3.8
either way.. they are crazy

well... not really... i work at stylinconcepts.. so i know all about makin a truck look sweet... so you have a big flat canvas for whatever you want, and it will swallow a v8 that would kill anything... that sounds pretty good to me... i still love my lude, but it is cool to cruise my s10, cuz no one thinks that i will kill em in a truck... ya know? sleeper style... or crazy wild custom style...
