that person in the link posted only had an intake... no header. i think the header really changes how it sounds. my pitch is a lil higher and ricier than how that sounds on the Run#1. the idling sounds exactly the same on mine.... it sounds great idling.
i'll post here once i get the silencers on, they are actually supposed to be benficial to performance, they say it helps regain lost torque from the bigger piping.

haha i played those videos and my cat ran to look out the window. I have trained her well.
I have a hotshot header on my car too and it doesnt sound ricey at all. Mine is just as deep as the videos. Maybe your just on crack? |

i very well could be
....... ............. ........... i heard a suburu wrx with a custom exhaust on it... sounded real deep and loud. then i revved by it and sounded exactly like it i think there's something wrong with all of my senses. mayb im ill........ i think i need a psychiatrist i havent really driven it until tonite, it sounded real good. im still getting the silencers. i dont want any cop fucking with me.

the "exhaust" on our WRX sounds like it has a mild race cam due to the inherence of the boxer engine. mmmm cams

could be.. i see him around my area a lot. i think he modded it heavily, off the line he was amazingly quick.
i see that, along with an orange 70s monte carlo ss, yellow ferrari, the nsx, and this one badass 5.0 on a regular basis. ![]() dayna, i guess you could say our n1 dual resembles the sound of this wrx ?

ok... the loss of low end torque on this exhaust really sucks. i feel slower now than i was before. hopefully those silencers, as they claim, will put back loss torque.
hi end power is great. and the exhaust does sound ok. best part of this exhaust is how it looks. im going to the track in a couple weeks, ill scan in and show everyone my timeslip.

i think its an aftermarket gauge thing, they look like white/black overlays

Yeah, now that you mention it, my guages don't look like that either. Did they change them a little for 97-98? The tach and speedo sweep farther over and the tach is a full circle. On my 95 (and on the n1 single video), it has a chunk out of it for the speedo guage. I think it doesn't look as good for some reason...

on the idle video for the duals you can hear little pops or drops in revs or whatever you call it that makes the sound a little inconsistant, I always heard it on the wrx video, what causes that and is there a way to stop it? or is that just cuz engines don't always sit at the same rpms during idle?
who was it that posted the video on here with the gold convertable 180 with the stunt guy or whatever? anyone know where I can find that video? |
