Sorry for bringing up this old thread, but I want to update you guys on what's going on, and what my plans are.
CURRENT STATUS - As I type this, the car has several layers of Tamiya Pure White. There has been some chipping near a panel line and sanding lines, which is why I let it go for a while. I would like to thank Henry (turbos86) for giving me his front grille piece, to replace my cracked one. PLANS - Tonight I hope to sand down the chips and attempt to make everything smooth. Since I relize it really isn't a replica of Moto-P's car (different front bumper) I decided to tweak it a bit. First off, I'll no longer have my poor roll-cage, also I'm thinking a carbon-fiber bonnet. The exhaust is being replaced with a smaller size (same as my tutorial). I plan to complete this car before Febuary 1st in time for a local contest (the 510 too). And will get started on a new Levin thereafter (Coupe, will be gunmetal). Here are some pics I took, and I hope you enjoy viewing them. I look foward to my finish product!   Close up of chips...

Real drift machines have chips and cracks, too. Just drybrush a little steel metalizer there and call it a scratch where the car scraped a guardrail.
 It looks great though. Very understated and clean.

what colour are you going to paint the wheels? ive got a metallic blue trueno with te37s and dont know which colour to paint them.
