98 240sx?

stick with the honda, we have a 84' accord that still runs with 250+ k miles on it. my 240 is a leaker, , the oil pan leaks, the tranny leaks, valve cover leaks, i smell tranny fluid allt he time when i drive,m smoke comes out of the shifter, this car SUCKS BIG TIME, and i only have 99k miles on this 92' fastback. yesterday though i beat a integra type R. so i was happy :flash:

yeah, I agree. I think we've all heard about hondas running practically
"forever", but I'm really into rear-wheel drive sports cars. The only
reason I have a honda is because its' reliable and I do a lot of driving.
I was looking into other models like the 93-98' Supra and RX-7 FD
but they're too expensive and insurance is a bitch. The 240 seemed
like the best choice especially with an SR swap. oh well, I guess I'll
just wait till my honda dies, if that ever happens.......

you, my friend, got a lemon. i've never heard of another 240SX that does that. if your car sucks so much, sell it to me!

When i drive my car hard I smell tranny fluid.It's because the boot on the shifter is torn.

take off the leather one(if you got it),then the big rubber boot and you'll see the small rubber boot that goes on the shifter and on the tranny.

I think my car is trying to tell me it's time for a short shifter...

Head getting cut off? Its the same thing if you put the soft top up. When you put the hard top on, its like putting on 40 or so lbs, BUT there is increased chassis stiffening.

You're the ONLY person I've EVER heard call it nasty looking... I'd honestly say its an improvement on the rag top, it makes it look like a mini FD. Seen the concept pictures for the Miata coupe? Both NA and NB? It takes after the FD...

I own a 90 Miata thats going turbo in about 2-3 weeks.

1.) When I said the "head gets cut off" thing, I meant it is extremely hard for tall people (like me) to get in these biatches. I tried to sit in an S2000 (rag top) with the top up and it was really hard and uncomfortable, thus, I would only drive it with the top down, which annoys me.
2.) Miata concept looks cool.
3.) Current miata with the huge black lines around where the top would normally be down looks tacky to me. Eyes of the beholder... Eyes of the beholder...
