Try not to play up the'Saddam is evil' routine,the justification for this war was originally to disarm him and hunt for Al Queda. The U.N. had already told the world that there was nothing there,and Al Quaeda are still out there,bombing Western targets in Saudi with the same ease and impunity that they attacked the WTC.

The U.S. may have won the ground battle conclusively,but the truth is,it was fought for all the wrong reasons.The only redeeming feature of this war was the removal of a U.S. appointed dictator from the control point for the world's second largeest proven oil reserves.Saddam may be out of power,it remains to be seen wether he is replaced with another U.S. stooge who will turn against his own people.

The best the world can hope for is that the U.S. direct its military resources into clearing the thousands of mines,cluster bombs ant toxic depleted uranium ordinance from Iraq, and then allow the citizens of Iraq their sovereign right to elect their own leadership in the manner that they consider fairest.The U.N. should not try to impose any leader or style of government on someone else's land.There' is no reason for the U.S.to remain in Iraq in any form once it has helped to clear up the detritus of war.

It really does not look good that we found nothing.
I believe there was WMD there at one time but it has all been
moved to another country, and is now probably a worse threat than
it was in Iraq since now we have no Idea where the WMD or Saddam is.

The U.S. won the war, but lost the real war--the war for people's opinions. Now Washigton has to do damage control--not an easy process, and at this time it would be even harder to convince other nations, especially its allies (and soon to be former allies?) of U.S. military presence for such and such reason. But I think Bush is happy since he has the oil...

hehe I've pretty much become apathetic about the whole damn ordeal . I dont care anymore !!! I cant care anymore !!! Gas is cheaper !!! yay !!! The finding of mass graves,while gruelsome,does not justify the invasion.the original purpose of the invasion was to disarm Saddam.Turns out that he didn't have the weapons,but we knew that already BECAUSE THE U.N. WEAPONS INSPECTORS TOLD US SO.

It's time for Mr Bush to show a bit more respect and support for the U.N. ,then maybe it can achieve what it was intended to do.All Mr Bush has achieved in this invasion is to alienate America from the civilised world.

It will take some more time than a month to exhaust all of the leads for WMD.

Why does everyone need concrete evidence that Saddam is or was a Madman tyrant that could give a shit less about his own flesh and blood, Let alone what other countries thought of his Weapons program testing. What more proof do you need than 10,000 innocent dead bodies in a mass shallow grave?

I agree that saddam huissein was an evil bastard and deserves to die. But I wish that was what we said before we went in . I hope after Iraq is rebuilt thier new government will give them some rights again. I know it had to suck living under an absolute dictatorship.
