Question BMW headlights

What do you all know about those light which when on sidelights only look like two circles of light. Only seen them on X/Y reg cars so far. I wanna get hold of a set to add to another car. If they are HID i take it I am going to have to get the whole loom for the lights. Is it going to be possible to wire them in to another car???

Lights ...

I think they are called 'Angel Eyes'. If you search the various boards for that, you may find some info.

I think those headlights started on the 2001 5-series. To my knowledge, you can't get them on other BMWs.... but they would look great!

Been done on both e36 m3 and e46 3 series, alot of money and hard work but its possible. Just need $$$$$$$$$

If they r going on any car, its going to be the Pulsar GTi-R. I think they r gonna suit it cause they look so means. If I can I will get them from a BMW salvage place, just wanted to know how much of the loom I needed cause HID light hjave the voltage converter box........
