BMW headlights on 97 passat?

I found Bmw E36 Angel Eye headlights that are listed with B4 in the title on ebay... now i can onle assume the B4 is some arbitrary Bimmer term but im in love with the look and was wondering if anyone has heard of doing this conversion to a 97 passat? i really think my candy white vr6 wagon would look perfect with blacked out angel eyes up front... let me know if im lucky and can purchase these
