|
My gearstick is still limp! and hanging to the right
Can anyone please help me out, for months now my gearstick has not been sitting centrally
and it is not as I hve discovered worn bushes. The selector shaft where it joins the gearbox is limp and I have no idea what is wrong with it. HELP!

I can't get it up! !!!! !(the gearstick)
Yep the spring is still there, I have taken the whole selector shaft off and I still cant
figure it out. I have had a lot of problems engaging the gears due to this and I am starting to think the gearbox is poked, maybe the selector fork is bent I dont know but it happened when I was heading off to work and it hapened quite suddenly. I was backing out my driveway and it went limp but then down the road it was fine. By the time I got to work it was f##ked. It's all happened since I changed the clutch... it is a real bitch when you try to get into 3rd as the gearstick leans towards 5th.
