Did I miss something...I thought this thread was about a windshield...
Just trying to say that some of the laws are gay.. Why is it illegal to put an open air intake on your car.. or to have a crack in your windshield?

Which of those two will cause the ozone to suddenly disappear?

Anyone want to tell me how they do a freakin post count on here? I know I have posted so much more than it counts... Anyways...

the kits don't work. you have to either get a glass company to proffessionally drill the dings out and fill them or get them to replace the windshield. maryland is pretty strict when it comes to stuff like that. kinda sucks. good luck man!

There are other types of air intakes than cold-air.. Open-Air is the same thing as a fucking short ram intake.. And if you ask what that is then you are as stupid as the question you asked...

Hey I never heard a SHORT RAM intake called a open air intake before. Here in cali we call short ram intakes short ram intakes or shorty's... I actualy thought he was talkin bout a RAM intake.... (Just so the prick dont get confused) its also called a COWL INDUCTION intake system...

They base the smog test on how many people live in a area nothing to do with new cars or old cars. HIGH FLOW cats just allow less back pressure I have one on my car and it cpasses better than my NEW stock cat. So your information is wrong. ANY way you can get the windsheild fix at autozone for 3.99 plus tax it is over buy the glues and silicon
I put High flow cats in quotes becase majority of the cheap ones are just resonators advertised as "hi-flow cats", but you knew that right? Now I have no idea what oklahoma is like, but ventura got rid of emsissions for the exact reason I satated. theres different reasons for different states but newer vehicles plays a role because manufatures have been building vehicles for years now that completely clear the standards set by the gov/epa, whom ever.

As for the windshields that don't pass inspection, its because windshields help the structural integrity of a car by about 40%. As for the windshields that are cracked and do pass, I have no idea. Mine is cracked and I can get a $110 ticket (not a fix-it either), thats why I keep it dirty.
