And now for something completely different in 1/24th scale.......

This I have been working on for about 4 or 5 years, on and off. Mostly off, as I was trying to find a pressure pot big enough to cast the trailer in. I did find several, but they cost about $600. Well, the trailer got cast, but not under pressure. It was cut out, in four pieces, on my cnc router, using a computer file made by a digital modeler from Finland, Niko Moritz. My hat is off to him, as he is a first class digital artist. I completed it recently to show at ACME's Southern National NNL several weekends ago.

Re: And now for something completely different in 1/24th scale.......

I actually got to drive the 1:1.... An old friend was involved in the restoration of the original truck and on it's completion I had the privledge of driving the truck and trailer (a short distance)... I have some old photo's of it around somewhere... The inside of the trailer was finished in highly polished wood with chrome "skid rails" for the beer kegs....

Wow, this is an awesome truck. Something different, as you mentioned in the title. Bring it to the model show in Jabbeke, Belgium next year in March!
