Re: Ken Block STI Subaru Impreza

Yes, i noticed that too....but as you said, nobody will notice this difference...

And about the masking work, I always prefer to paint the clear colors first then masking for lay down the darkest one...
Cover a black area with white paint is more dificult ;-) not always, but, "by the book".. thatīs the rule!

Re: Ken Block STI Subaru Impreza

Mine (just) came with the proper decal. It's on a separate sheet. Correction maybe?

Thanks for that picture!
Tried to contact Hobby Design via the emails on their webpage but I got a bounce back.
Anyone know what their email address is?
Thanks

Tony

Re: Ken Block STI Subaru Impreza

The place I bought the kit from had a delivery of the third sheet. One is on it's way to me shortly. Phew. That makes life easier.
Now to fix the scratch built roll cage my wife ran over in the 1:1 automobile!

Re: Ken Block STI Subaru Impreza

Great job!.. really great.. i just think that you should do the transition from white to black right on the beginning of the door.. cause it's visible where the decals are placed on... there is mark .. but.. great job anyway!

Not the greatest of builders and always aggravated by kits with no instructions. Someone tell me what the four tiny metal parts in the zip lock bag are.....

They are for the tyre valves that go into the rim of the wheels.
They are metallic blue.

Re: Ken Block STI Subaru Impreza

But be careful which Aoshima Impreza you buy. This is the one that I used:
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10127337
It has the right hood/bonnet. I originally bought this one but the hood is wrong and so is the front bumper:
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10161008
Yes I know in the top one, the bumper is not 100% correct near the lights, but it is the closest.
