Help to correction on Fujimi BMW Z4 GT3

Hi.

I'm looking for some help to replicate the support of the rear wing of the Fujimi 1/24 BMW Z4 GT3. I need only a CAD project, because I know that there are people here with a lot of experience on this software (or similar). I will try to make it using a plastic card, but I don´t know the proportion of the piece. I think that if you use this software with real pictures you can calculate the proportion to the correct scale .

The original wing from Fujimi kit is this:

And I need this:

If someone can help me, I'll be greatful. If necessary, I have more detailed pictures of it.

Yes, this a great topic. I'm also looking for a couple of rear wings for this model. Maybe somebody should make them to sell.

Best regards,
Lesley

Great find, there. I certainly appreciate that.

Since it looks like you're making one of the "other" Z4s, are any of the ones you had pics of available yet? I'd like to do the RB or the black and white one just above it. Any idea?

Re: Help to correction on Fujimi BMW Z4 GT3

Daniel...

For now my intention is to complete the items needed to make the Pit Wall Marc VDS version, the Scale Production Dorr Motorsport version, and the Studio27 Schubert version. All of these versions use this kind of suport to the rear wing. And I'm thinking to acquire the Decaldoc Vita4One version, that use it too.

But make these versions on the pictures (Need for Speed and Red Bull) and others is not out of my plans. I have a friend that dominate the Adobe Photoshop, and I started some projects with him. Unfortunately I don't know how much time we will spend to complete the task. He is a very busy person.

Outlaw, great to see you back into the "business"

We must talk, man... I´m also intended to build the RedBull version of this car....
sooner or later, Shunko, S27, DecalDoc or other company will release the decal sheet to do this version.. for sure! Let´s wait...

The wing differs for the 2012 car, you will also need to modify the front wheel arches.

Re: Help to correction on Fujimi BMW Z4 GT3

The wing from the fujimi kit is wrong for the redbull and grey Marc VDS car. They both ran in 2011. Redbull at the finalrace of the Belcar championship and the Grey Marc VDS at the 2011 24Hours of Spa. They both have the same rear wing, so you need to scratch or buy the hobby design etch set.

Best regards,
Lesley

@outlaw:
you need a total new body for the 2011 and 2012 version,

http://carbaborane.blog135.fc2.com/b...tegory-20.html

the Dörr Motorsport decalsheet is from 2010, that are decals for the Fujimi kit

the VDS is 2011, new body, the decal instruction is a little bit wrong
