Changing cars again....

Well, after some long hard thought, I'm selling my civic.
I've decided against trying to build a fast car after all. Instead I'm wanting something a littel bigger that I can ride in in comfort... so I'm planning on buying a 92-93 Accord (technically still a 4th gen honda ) sometime in late february or march... don't get me wrong, I love the civic... but I've decided it's just not the thing for me right now.

As much as I can, probably as much as I always do... I don't see myself as being too much help to the newbies these days, and I rarely post anyways...
Eventually, I'm sure I'll get another 4th gen civic and build a full out race car out of it, but for now... I just want something else... the civic doesn't feel right at the moment.
I want to get an 92-93 Accord 4door (like that model the best), drop an H22a in it, pack it full of speakers and amps, and just cruise... since I don't race.. and I never speed (honestly never do)... and it's actually those two things that made me wonder why I was trying to build a fast car to begin with... so I'm not.

well good luck and happy driving whatever you get.

damnit, i never did get around to banning you :evillaugh

i used to have a 90 Accord. same version as the 92-93. that car was kick ass except it was AT AT made it one huge sled in the snow. that car had 305,000 when it was sold. i still see the guy rolling it (probably at 325,000+ by now). you wouldn't believe how smooth it ran with that many miles....ran better and stronger than my 120,000 d16a6

you could always do what I did... just find a tank to ride in, fix it up a little to make it nice and make sure it's running properly and pour the rest of your money into the civic

damn... I broke my oath of silence... eh well.

I hardly consider a 4th gen Accord a tank hehe... but I'm going to be pouring A LOT of money into it too... want to put a really kick ass sound system in it... here are my plans

For this Accord, I'm going with a complete CDT Audio system, with either MA Audio, or Orion amps.
My subs choice will probably be Two CDT MS-80's (8" mini-box subs) and One HP=1200 (12")... highs are probably going to be ES-643's for the front, and for the rear fill I'll probably go with CL-69X's.... we'll see how that sounds when I get all that in, which probably wont be until next Christmas as little as my job pays (paying for college and living on my own too).
I can't decide what security system to go with though... anyone have any opinions on that one (since the security system will be going in as soon as I get the car in March)?
And then later down the line, I'll probably put in an H22.
