Fiat 695 tributo Ferrari

This one started as Fujimis' Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari kit to which I added Hobby Designs' Hamann Fiat 500 detail up set.

This was a nice kit kit to put together from Fujimi and caused no issues along the way.

Hobby Design let their side down by including warped 1/28 scale wheel arch/ side skirt resin. Its not the first time Hobby Design have got me like that

I had to cut the side skirt and add 2mm of spacing to get it back in shape but apart from that the trans kit went together without any other issues.

Looking great. Do you have some pictures of the inside? What paint did you use for the bodycolor?

She was sprayed Tamiya TS18 Metallic Red with Alclad Magnesium wheels.

I can't get rid of window reflections to get interior shots.

I'll be taking interior shots on future builds before buttoning things up.

Nice work! Love the colour! Hobby Design really need to sort out their Resin wraping & getting the correct size of things! My LP640 transkit was shocking! Nothing fitted or was correct size!

Very clean..! I got the kit, too and just wonder what tire you used for the rims (17"?) as it is not supplied in the HD set? Hope you did not do something even for the tire and rims..

My trans kit came with the rims but no tires. I found some old tires that fitted in my spare parts box but I don't know what model they came off.

The tires came from an american kit because they are made of the same material that Revell tires are made of.

I've taken a photo so some one may recognize what model the tires came off.
