Bent rim

Ok so it's almost time to put new tires on my truck. I currently have 22's on it and one of the rims is bent. I know it still holds air and never leaks. Is it gonna be ok to put a new tire on it and not worry about trying to get it fixed at the moment or will I have to have it fixed before I can have a new tire on it?

remove the tire and see if you can find a shop that can fix the rim. maybe it can be fixed / sometimes no.

to fix a bent rim the tire must be off. so it will cost you to remove and re-balence. I would not use a wheel that has a distortion in it. best use the spare till this can be fixed if possible or replaced.

up here we have these shops because of, potholes in the spring. low profile tires up here are not all that common snow and long winters with those type tires are dangerous.

tire shop may not put new tire on it !
