Mazda MX-5 which came out horrible and I hate it but I will share anyway.

As the title says, it came out horrible and I hate it but I'll post it anyway. Tempted to throw it in the bin to be honest, or salvage it for spares. Don't bother criticising it, I hate it enough already.

Really disappointed with this one.
Thanks for looking

I believe that we learn a lot with every car we built, so don't be so disappointed, get the lessons learned with this model and apply to the next

I wouldn't mind that on my shelf. At least you're building. I think it looks well and like crisjr said, you probably learned a ton from it. Don't forget to have fun with building. Keep it up, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next.

Like others mentioned, I would not throw it nor salvage it if I was you. Models with multiple obvious blemishes are perfect references to how much you will improve in the future when you eventually compare your products then to this. I had parted out and lost many of my old models and even though they didn't look good I still miss them.

I kept laughing for about a minute with the title XD.
Cīmon, itīs not that bad anyway. It looks like youīve got tired of it when you were halfway.
Iīve seen some other models from you and they look nice. Just take these 3 tips Iīve learnt here:
1- paint every part. If itīs gonna be seen, it must be taken care of. (well, some parts like wheels, exhausts and stuff look already great out of the box... like the R390 wheels, and I usually leave them that way).
2- sand/polish bodies! Look for some tutos/videos/whatever, thereīs a lot of info around. All your models look properly painted, but then you leave them with the rough paint surface. Keep all your Nissanīs the way they are now (they are ok because of the decals and you donīt want to risk them), but with this Mazda, or maybe from now on, give them a little wetsanding and polishing and they will look 10 times better.
3- remember to give some love to each model while you build it. Enjoy it and then learn the lesson.

Never consider a model as the last model. They are all steps of this hobby.

Don't forget many of the posters here have been building kits for AGES, as in some before you were even born. Everyone goes through the same phases. Don't expect a first or early kit to be perfect. In fact, my first kits were unpainted, glue EVERYWHERE. Then progressed to hand painting, etc... It's a stepping stone. The most important thing is to keep building and have fun!!
