Ok, well I didn't knew which one there raced; seems Team Bigazzi's #17R been in action?

IIRC,The race was the last of the three, over the 96/97 period, 19/1/1997 chassis #18R was used for all three races.

What chassis numbers are the 95 Gulf GTR'S? If they are already posted here I must have missed them.

#01R through to #08R; #09R never raced; from #10R onwards were the 96 GTR's

Greg - reading is fun-duh-mental.

The original pair of Gulf GTRs were #02R and #04R. After #04R's heavy crash in practice at Jarama, #08R was substituted for the rest of the '95 season.

Any articles or pictures of #04R after the crash? And do you know who was driving at the time?

Despite somewhat feverish searching, no photos of the car in its damaged condition have ever been located. Lindsay Owen-Jones was at the wheel of the car when it crashed in free practice on the Thursday before the race. Tracks are usually not full of spectators then and even motorsport photographer, John Brooks, who followed the series along wasn't there yet at the track to capture any evidence.
