HELP, my readings flipped, how do i correct this???
@ first testing 25/25 test HC 72 (allowed 115) pass CO% 0.49 (allowed 0.63) pass NO 2327 (allowed 796) fail 50/15 test HC 61 (allowed 117) pass CO% 0.43 (allowed 0.65) pass NO 2305 (allowed 879) fail after SEAFORM, OIL CHANGE, gas line antifreeze, my readings flipped over and car failed. car might have a faulty gasket. what can i do (before i have to spend BIG bucks on repairs) 25/25 test HC 230 (allowed 115) fail CO% 1.66 (allowed 0.63) fail NO 645 (allowed 796) pass 50/15 test HC 115 (allowed 117) pass CO% 1.80 (allowed 0.65) fail NO 542 (allowed 879) pass Last edited by woolfe; 12-26-2011 at 08:25 PM. first run all that stuff out of the tank and fill up with quality gas (name brand fuel company) then fix the real problen likely egr related do you have a check engine light on and how dose the car run otherwise those adatives just try to mask the problems they usualy fix nothing your car has hi combustion temps and my be running lean nox is a by productof this thats what the egr dose it lowers combustion temps by recycling exhaust gas(inert gas wont burn) in to the intake if that dosent help update us and give us a little more info about your car year make modle ecm codes etc... good luck
