'99 Regal Turn Signal Connector
I had the fast blink issue, and not amber light for the daytime running lights, so I replaced the bulb. It worked, so I put the bulb back into the headlight lens assembly and back onto the car. Then it didn't work again. I took the lens out again, and remove dthe amber light from the lens. this time while looking at the connectory, one of the 3 wires pulled right out of the back. No connection, no light, right? Is this a crimped connection, or somthing that soudl be soldered back together? Is replacing the connector a better option?

Re: '99 Regal Turn Signal Connector
Usually crimped with a seal....You can remove the connector from the plastic harness(usually a paper clip will depress the plastic node that holds it in place) and bring it to any GM dealership for replacement....just add a little wire so it won't pull on the connection....can transfer the old seal or get a new one with the new connector...
They have a crimping tool for this..... |
