Some people asked me for Flying Lizard 2007 decal sheet.
But I'm only the designer of these decals, not the producer.
The whole production has been sold by Profil 24, I have no stock.

Re: 997 GT3 RSR n°80 Flying Lizard Le Mans 2007 by Profil 24

Hi guys,
I'm going to show you what I've done in this long time that I didn't post anything.

I started with the roll-cage project, I took the all measures about the tubes (I have also reviewed the layout because the roll-cage made by Profi24 was completely wrong). Then I started to prepare the tubes (Stainless Stell-Hiroboy) in the 1:1 scale for solder it, unfortunately I don't have still the appropriate acid for solder, then I looked about another things to do.

I've decided to complete the wheels. Profil24 for the rear rims (also for the front) made it in two parts, but one of them was wrong (!!!!!).
Using a CAD I drawed it and with CNC my dad made it. ( Thanks Dad!!!)
Now the final result is very good, as you can see in the last picture about rims.

For the conclusion about today, I made some painture details on the body, like NACA, front lights and some interior parts.

Hope that you will like it !!!!!

Andrea Steven

Re: 997 GT3 RSR n°80 Flying Lizard Le Mans 2007 by Profil 24

Hi guys,
This is what I've done in my this little time....

Starting with the interior,
I modified the original pedals adding some PE handmade and sprayed it like titanium.
Then, I started the Stand21 cooling system. The original one was very poor of details and I decided to add some of them, like decals, PE and I have still to add the blue tube from that until the seat. I think that the result is good !!!!
The last thing that I've done was the dashboard. I removed the external parts that was in excess and also all details, like buttons, switchs and leds. I'm going to replace it with the Hobby Design details, like the original dashboard.

Following with the exterior,
I started to paint the rear wing, two primer coats (Tamiya) - three Bright Red coats (Zero Paint) - three clearcoats (Tamiya).
Then, I applied the three decals on it....it has been a big adventure applied it because the decals are very soft !!!!!!!!
Afte that, I replaced the original wheel nuts with others Tamiya that I found in one old kit.

Hope that you will like it .....

Andrea Steven

Wow I love the 997 GT3 and this really got my jaws dropping.

I am curious what did you use for the heat barrier tape effect?

Hi guys, I'm doing at the same time another kit and I didn't post any pictures since a lot of time.
Here you will find some of my WIP
The interior part is quite finish, still to add some little parts and the roll-cage, that is taking more time than the expected time

Hope that you will appreciate my work.

you have added great details to this kit Andrea. I really like your work - I do not build resin kits - I work with plastic, and I am trying to replicate your build with the new Fujimi Porsche GT3R kit. I am trying to find a source for the decals, but I cannot find the company. that makes them - John
