Re: Transmission clunk on reverse from Drive
Almost 4 years (35,000 additional miles) from original post, the shop was correct. There is no need to do anything...still going...going...going. Save the money!

Re: Transmission clunk on reverse from Drive
Dear Woodmanho,
I have lexus es250 1991 with the same 100% as your description. I hate that clunk and be very angry with that problem even the car still can transport me. Anyone has this experience can share to me? Thank you and love you.

Re: Transmission clunk on reverse from Drive
well, it seems as though it is nothing to worry about if your mounts are fine. could be something annyoingly simple like the car being too cold or too warm and with parts expansion and contraction. It seems as though the OP and everyone else have had nothing to concern themselves with and neither should you.

Re: Transmission clunk on reverse from Drive
Dear Crxlvr,
I have tried to replace the transmission kit and still "jumping out", nothing ganna change! ![]() ![]() Now I'm trying to replace some rubber mounts. If still not, I'll try to replace the engine with transmission set complete unit. But I think the best way is to replace the car by new one! Kekekeke ![]() ![]() Thank you very body
