98 Camry Question
I have a 98 camry le 4 cylinder and the passenger side window sometimes wont roll up and rolls down very slowly. If I let the car sit for about 5 minutes then I can roll it up. So i'm wondering what could this possibly be? All other windows roll up and down just fine. This happens even when using the button to roll the window up from the drivers side. I havent checked fuses or relays since Im not quite sure where these things are located. Not really mechanically skilled so im just wondering if theres something I can do thats simple or how much it would cost to even go about getting this fixed. Thanks.

Re: 98 Camry Question
It sounds like your window motor is weak. It is not simple to replace, but not that expensive either - unless you buy a new one from Toyota. You can probably find a used one in a salvage yard and get it installed for a couple hundred dollars labor. Your motor should be pretty common and easy to find. Camrys are very popular.
A fuse or relay would prevent it from working at all. Not your problem.

Re: 98 Camry Question
Im sure it requires the door panel to be removed, I had a handle put on the drivers side I took it to a body shop and let them do it lol I tried but I didn't think I could do it. We have a pull apart yard so I will check there. Do I need it for the exact car or year I mean like from a 98 camry le like this one or could it be another?
