2 F1 GP Winners

http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/h...0and%20Webber/

for reasons known, I will not post any pics on here, just from photobucket.

used SMS carbon for just about everything, didnt use kit CF decals because they are way to light.
PE and ribbon seat belts for more realism

Blue is alittle too dark with decals, but oh well, cant change it now

took about 4 months of off and on work, but since I'm moving to my new home at the end of this month, I wanted to get these done and not worry about a half built kit.

my next kit will be a full WIP of the 2010 Audi R15+ Le Mans Winner

cheers,
Steve

Great looking cars, although I'm no RB fan, to be honest.
Those rear wheels must have been a major pain getting those CF decals onto the vanes.

Apart from the fact the some CF seems a bit out of scale to me, they look totally perfect and could be mistaken for a larger scale.

Re: 2 F1 GP Winners

thanks, I dont have really any 1/43 carbon weave so I used the 1/24 as I normally do. the macro also makes it bigger sadly, it looks alot better seeing it upclose.

and yeah, the rear "fan" was a real pain to do, also decalling the green stripes because there was no mistake to be made because those were the only ones I had from an older kit, the kit supplied me with like a blueish-green
