How do you remove the front rotors on a '96 Chevy 3500? Diagrams would be helpful.

I currently have the caliper off. The rotor itself is free, but it is being retained on the spindle by a hub of some sort. THis hub is stuck on and I can't seem to free it up. There are 8 studs that connect the hub to the rotor. THose are out. If anyone has a diagram or an exploded view of the assembly it would be incredibly helpful. Thanks.

2W OR 4W
Brake caliper bracket holding it on??
Some the wheel bearing hub has to come off if rotor is on back side of it.

How does that wheel bearing hub come off? I have the nut off. I won't come free. Do you have a diagram? I need an assembly view. Can you give me a website that has one?

If it's a 4wd, look for 4 bolt heads on the back side.

My 99 3500 is 2wd, and it has front hubs. There are either 3 or 4 bolts holding the hub on, remove it. Once the hub is off, you can take off the rotor...

If it's 4wd, there is certainly a hub. Same as above. The hub can sure be a PITA to take off.

Sometimes the back side of the rotor fuses to the hub face with rust and/or around the hub center. There should be two threaded holes in the rotor you can thread bolts through to pop it loose from the hub.
