93 jgc truck won't start security light

here is the fix I did go to drivers door take off panel find wiring harness saying key switch take it loose and the part going into harnes cross a wire across the 2 terminals tape it up this will disable the alarm permently I did it a few weeks ago and love not having to unlock doors in a sequence to turn it off and well wait till it goes off for no reason in the middle of the night and you cant get it to turn off that is when I disabled it not hard to do took me like 10 min if you have it right you can lock doors with the button and security light will not light up if it lights check your cross wire hope this helps
