89' olds 98 touring. runs good, but manifold starts to glow red.
We just got this car to use on a mail route. Replaced catalytic converter, o2 sensor, wires and plugs are good. It runs good, but , the longer it runs the manifold starts to glow red. What would cause this. The car has sat for a while. Could the muffler be plugged? Thanks for any help.

I once had a Pontiac Fiero with similar symptoms and it was the intake gasket leaking air. My $0.02 worth.

Sounds like a lean condition... what type of O2 did you use? As well has the SES light been on at all?
