2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace car hard shifting.
I have an issue with my Monte. When the car reaches operating temperature the automatic transmission begins to shift hard through the gears.....it seems to be ok when cold but the issue begins after warm up. Can anyone help with my issue??

Re: 2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace car hard shifting.
Check the transmission fluid while the car is running. If its full then take it by a transmission shop and have them scan your car. Your car might have a P1811 code. Check out this for more info http://www.tripleedgeperformance.com...ft__P1811.html

Re: 2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace car hard shifting.
Usually caused by the pwm solenoid sticking in the maxpress. position, or the pcm sees slippage and it commanding it on, good advice by drob99.
