Unhappy trade in the bmw for a ???

I currently have a 1995 BMW 318is , i got for my 16th birthday, but now i want to trade it for some thing less... incredably slow. i want a convertibe. I would like a car that makes me look rich seeing as i am incrediablly shallow.

i've come up with the following list i would like everyone to vote on

1999 ford mustang convertible (with saleen bodykit)
1999 Mercedes Benz SLK230
1980's Mercedes benz G-wagon convertible
1999 Volvo S-40

im leaning towards the G-wagon or the mustang..

If you're only going for the look and some adequate speed, the SLK230 is the car for you.

You've got real interesting taste. Have you considered a 98 M3 Convertible? 240hp and best handling around. If you're leaning towards the old Mercedes I caution you to consider that older vehicles require more service and maintenance. You can't look rich if you're car is in the shop!

First of all, the slk is a beatiful car. If you are going with the slk, dont put a front air dam on it, the thing looks stupid. The side skirts and rear valance is very top of elegance. The next out of your choices would be the stang with a full body kit. It is nice, but rich looking

Interesting, well it would be easier if you told us the amount you are willing to spend on the new car.

Anyway here are some other options for you.

Toyota Supra MK4 Targa/AeroTop (NA/TT)
Honda S2000
Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Spyder
Mercedes SL ('95 Shape)
Mercedes CLK320 Cab.
BMW M3 Cab.
BMW Z3/M Roadster
Audi TT Roadster
Porsche Boxster
Chevrolet Corvette C5 Convertible

But out of the ones you listed above I think the SLK230 would do it best for you.

Have fun.

I agree

I have to agree with him, volvos lately are coming out with nicely designed cars. From front to back they are extremly nice. And like always they are the safety car.
