Hi everyone. I'm looking for a part number for my 10MM bolt Transmission pan gasket. Only part #'s online that I can find are 24204624 Automatic transmission pan gasket used with 8mm pan bolts.
OR 24206182 Automatic transmission pan gasket used with 6mm pan bolts. are for the 6MM or 8MM My bolts are the 10 MM. My 97 GPGT non-super charged is the second design for 1997. So is there a part number for the 10MM gasket that I need?

Paul, the 4T65E uses M6X1.0X17 pan bolts total of 20 so you need the one for a 4T60E, GM RPO code M13. Double check the SPID label on the back of the trunk lid and make sure you see a code of M13.
The part number I have is 24204624. The part number 24206182 is for the 4T65E M15, MN7 or MN3 only. Best thing to do is Send a PM to Rich (richtazz) to be sure.

Re: 1997 2nd design 4T60E Trans Bolts
Paul, also keep in mind the bolt size between the transaxles is based on the threaded part size not the head where you put the wrench. For example although the bolts are metric M6 on a 4T65E transaxle the bolt head size is 10mm. In other words you use a 10mm socket on them. Best thing to do is when you get the pan gasket (OE GM metal and preformed preferable) see if the bolt will fit properly through the holes in the gasket.
