General question regarding E350 multi passenger vans

We are a family of seven...2 parents 5 kids...3 of which are in car seats still.
we currently have a 2000 Honda Odyssey but it is getting small inside.
We are thinking of a 10/12 passenger with captains chairs instead of bench seats.

Any advice on years to avoid, mileage limit to not buy over, etc
Enterprise car rental has a division where they lease out vans to companies, corporations for van pools and the ones I looked at online seem very good but mileage is 80K plus but my wife doesn't want anything from an American car unless it is under 50K. She doesn't believe that a Ford will last for the 10 years we will probably need it.

Any constructive advice/thoughts?
What is the reliability of 2007 to 2009 E Series vans? Will they hold up to 200 to 250 thousand miles?

I have a 2002 E350 15 passenger van with the 5.4 engine that has 252,000 miles on it and still going strong.

Where I work we have a few Ford vans (all cargo) and as long as you get the oil changes every 5k or so, and change the transmission fluid and filter every 50k or so, it will last alot of miles.

Do you have any fears/concerns about rollovers? My wife has seen a bunch of stories/reports of the extended vans rolling over and now wants to rule it out.

How does yours handle?

thanks

I dont think there is a concern about rollling over in these vans, but you dont drive it like a car either, you have to slow down and take it easy. Mine is getting to the point where I have to replace the steering gearbox as there is a little play in it, but I think it still drives pretty good.
