1995 G30 5.7L loses power and lights, electrical short?
ok, 1995 Chevy G30 Van with 5.7L.
I drove the van to test the new brakes. After driving for about 15 minutes, possible less, the motor lost power and seemed very reluctant to leave the stop signs. Engine started misfiring and bogging down. Also the turn signals that worked before the engine lost power, stopped working. When you activate the turn signal, the little green arrow on the instrument cluster lights up, but wont flash... I have searched inside the van, under the van, under the hood (and the dog house) and haven't found anything that look burned or even smells. . . . what gives? Any ideas?. . . . . . . . ANYONE??

Does horn and heater blower and headlights still work good? Is the battery up to full voltage 13.6? Check for good full voltage to everything key on?
