Hi,
I have a 97 PA w/150,000 mi. Within the last 6mos I had my brakes replaced, rotors, everything. Recently I have noticed that when I apply the brakes, the steering wheel shakes. I'm not getting a pulsing, but a steering wheel back and forth motion. Car is running fine, not pulling to either side, so I am stumped as to what it could be? Can anyone provide incite into my situation? Thank you, Prof. H

Re: Shaking Steering Wheel during slow braking
it still sounds like a warped brake rotor even tho they were replaced
some rotors sold new warp(i've seen this with made in china)rotors they warp very easily.

Re: Shaking Steering Wheel during slow braking
As mentioned, it could be a warped rotor, could even be rust between the rotor and the hub. But it also could be a loose or worn inner or outer tie rod end or front wheel bearing/hub assembly.
