Maybe he wants to hear from his customers - no harm in trying.

Absolutely! I would like to thank him for all great models 1/24 his company made. Can anyone help me with that? At least link me the post address of Mr.Tamiya.

Re: The e-mail of Mr.Tamiya?

I think that's the reason why the older kits are reaching such silly prices when they appear for sale now, because most of the latest stuff in my opinion is boring .

Everybody remember the bad things, and no one remember the good. Human nature.
I think almost everyone can make every model he want. It is question of how much you want it.

it's not a so much philosophical human nature question or even neither a remembering bad things one, cos' I'm not saying Tamiya is making bad things, I'm just ironicly saying they have been forgetting for years some of their former good things !!
And more than everything, this rally fan truth was mostly given with sarcasm, I also bought the DBS or the 370Z or GT-R35... But for sure Tamiya forgot they released rally cars being references in 1/24 modeling world years ago... Too many years ago...

But if you really want to open a philosphical debating question, I think that not considering bad things is also in a sens refusing to admit they exist...

Re: The e-mail of Mr.Tamiya?

I also sought a personal e-mail from Mr. Tamiya and I could not find it. Then, since I could not find an e-mail, sent a letter to the headquarters of Tamiya in Japan, addressed specifically to Mr. Shunsaku Tamiya. That was in November 2009, I'm still waiting for the answer ...
