Where is the best place to buy wheel hubs. OEM Wheel hubs. I have replaced them before twice with aftermarket style and they suck!!! I'm sure a dealer but just wondering if anyone knows of a website or something??

Re: 01 jimmy 4x4 front wheel hubs
OEM or National #513124, both are good bearings. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._1199041380___
The three most common reasons for premature failure are: using cheap quality bearings, over or under torqueing of the axle nut, (spec is 103 foot pounds of torque) and incorrect camber, (which a wheel alignment will correct). Front camber spec is zero degrees. There are two sets of ball bearings in each hub assembly, if camber is incorrect, the load is not evenly distributed between the two bearing sets.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't even think about the Spindle Nut torque! Great info.
Appreciate it. |
