Oh. working on them isn't any worse than any other car. I'm just saying it's bad if you take it to the dealer. They quoted my dad $700 with 6 hours of labor to do a valve cover gasket. So, either they're stupid and it really takes them 6 hours to do a VC gasket. Or they assume you're stupid and are taking you for your money. Either way, I wouldn't let them touch my car.

kind of like when ford told me it was going to take 3200 and a week to do my daily driver. took me 800 and one week to do the job myself.

The dealers suck because they make all their money on the back end and used cars sales. New cars just pays the bills and keep the lights on, and BMW bills are hiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. They are a bit tougher to work on in some ways due to the electronic stuff~it all runs together. That, and you have to deal with the fact that the new models don't come with dipsticks...

and today my mazda recieved the same gift the sentra did. someone hit me the exact same way. they wont total this one, but its not gonna be cheap to fix. was sitting at a light, and a huge raised f250 comes plowing into me at about 45-50 mph. picture isnt the best but ah well.



will need new taillights, trunk lights, trunk lid, interior plastics on the trunk lid, misc clips, rear bumper, rear bumper support/crashbar, no idea about the trunk floor, as i cant even open up my trunk right now, as its stuck like that. cant tell about the exhaust or anything yet either. but it sounds the same.

Fail. We get that a lot around here. I hate sitting at lights and watching these guys in their jacked up pick ups flying up on me, talking on the cell phone, and then hitting their breaks at the last minute. Most of them have no clue how much weight they have to stop in those things, and one of these days I got a feeling someone is just gonna plow into the Z.

Yeah, that's how I lost my sisters Ford Escort. Was turning in to get some gas in her car before going home and BAM!! I lost the trunk in that car. It was "too bad for you sis".

finally got it back today. meeh. its been a good month without it. it feels like a damned race car thanks to the impala, ford focus, and cailber ive driven this month.
