if you look back i never said urine would {gel} it up i said mixing antifrezze would gel up. do you go to I-U?
I'm not sure, what is I-U?

So you're saying mixing pink antifreeze (long lasting stuff) with green (2 year stuff) would cause it to gel, or mixing brands (Zerex with Prestone) would cause it to gel?

Re: Radiator fluid question

To clarify what Scrapper typed, you don't want to mix TYPES of coolant (long-life with "standard" - not sure if it's due to gel potential, pH issues, or what) but you should have not any issues mixing BRANDS of the same type (Prestone with Zerex, etc).

Re: Radiator fluid question

I had to bodge a coolant pipe once and refilled on the roadside with 4 bladders with help from passangers and a bottle of coke. I can assure you that although it gets you home it is a rather unpleasant experience draining the system down again.
