Why can't we go back to the days of hostbaoard?
Well the first post didn't work so here it is again. Ok I'm not insulting anyone here but this forum isn't what it used to be. I was one of the original members back on the hostboard forums. The multiboard setup was much better than this all in one board shit. You can't even keep a post on the first page for a day if it's anything important like a tech question, so then when you come back you have to search through page 2 or even 3 just to find your post, and no offense but this board is extremely slow I mean it's a good setup the server is just completely over loaded and 70 % of the time you get some message saying the server is too busy. Even hostboard was faster than this until they upgraded their software and messed everything up. Can we atleast have a tech forum or something, or even go back to hostboard, they seem to have everything worked out now and it's pretty fast. Anyway just my opinion...

Why can't money come easier? ok so i had two civic hatchbacks, i totaled one because i wasn't paying attention, the other one i got ran into a creek by an old lady asleep at the wheel, then i got a CRX was being retarded hit a deer at 90 and flipped, so now i drive a 1992 celica GT and i love it, done with being stupid, this one will not be wrecked.

 FINALLY! igor told me (and i heard posted in some forums) there is a huge server upgrade. as you can see, there is a handfull of people who are refusing to play by the rules they agreed to when registered. most of them were banned and igor put new member registration on lock down. that way they can not continue to return as they were. some of the people still have "reserve" names they created before lock down. there are very few remaining.you've hung in this far....please just give it a week or 2. when things get back to normal i plan contact all the valuable people i have noticed disappeared. we'll get this place back on track  ami ps. your other one did appear...i'm gonna delete it

Thanks Ami for deleting that post. I don't know whether it's because I'm dialup or what but this board doesn't work at all for me right now, it took me 10 attempts just to reply.

I wasnt around for hostboard so I guess I cant comment on 'the old days' but I can say that while AF has server issues, and the mods have views sometimes that people dont agree with, it is still a pretty tight place, and all these haters that dont like it just need to quit being ethug's and bounce to another forum.

I remember hostboard and it was even worse than AF. There was never any "good old days" as far as it's uptime is concerned - you think being down for half an hour is bad? We lost hostboard for a few weeks once as I recollect.
The mods here are great and the whiners can go fornicate with themselves 'cause the sensible people here don't give a shit about their whiney-butt attitudes. Now if only we could get rid of all the ricers we'd be set

Yeah go ahead, let the labeling begin. I'm a whiner... whatever folks. Let's see...in all regards to setanta I remember you had a lot of problems with hostboard but in case you don't recall fully we lost it for a week while they were upgrading their software. If you happened to go back since then you'd notice that it is one of the smoothest running boards out there. Melt.....indeed this board is tight but it's not what it used to be. It's tight if you can get to it that is, it hardly ever works from 9-10 pm on any given night and barely works during the day. So there's a software upgrade coming, that should help. And as far as finding another board there's nothing wrong with this one other than there's way too much traffic to be combined into one board, there should atleast be a general and a tech board. I guess I'm being an "ethug" again so I'll go bounce to my hometown board and chill with some more of my ethug buddies on a board that actually works. Again there's nothing wrong with the content here the server just needs alot of attention. Peace out ethugs, hope that software upgrade comes soon.

does hostboard=ph? if not, i wasn't here back then either. but yah the whole honda/acura forum has slowly gone down, too many ppl just wanna post whore and get their counts up. the 4g forum seemed to be the least effected up until a while ago, but then i haven't been here for a while either.

FYI, I still have the original Hostboard accounts setup. I never did remove them, and yes the hostboard message boards are working extreamly well now.
Hostboard worked great for us for months when we first started, then went downhill. If the mods do decide to switch again let me know "[email protected]" and I will be happy to give them the links. Dont bother replying on here becuase I will probabaly not be able to view it because it is down 90%

well Eric, AF is going on 2 servers when the upgrade is made. AF will run very smooth after the switch.
