Porsche 911 (964) "Polizei"

After some setbacks while painting and especially drying the body this is the third and finally successful try finishing this one.

Started as a simple Fujimi 911 kit. I´ve taken door panels for interior from an Italeri-kit, because they have a much better and more 3-D surface.
Blue lights are made from 5mm LED´s, siren is made from scratch.
White decals were printed by a fellow modeler - Big thanks!
Body was painted with Tamiya paints (Pure white / Park green) by airbrush, followed by several clear coats (2 components lacquer)

Photos were taken inside without flash. Didn´t want to wait for sunlight...

Right now i realize, i´ve taken the wipers for the RHD-version.

Hello Julian,

this particular model seems to be like a good red wine - the years let it ripe and develop the full potential. Very well done! The interior has been nice ever since you started the build - but the exterior sure improved with the (several?) overhauls. Perfect paint, nice details. Only the wrong mirrors take it down a little - but referring again to said red wine: it's just a little cork in the taste.

Congrats! Hope to see it next year in Frankfurt.

I agree, the mirrors are ugly. However, these are the mirrors the first 964 were delivered with. Apart from that, i need the nicer ones for 964 Turbo-Look Cabrio.
