Question convertible top and back glass separation

I have an 01 vette with a convertible top. Recently, I noticed that the back glass has become "unglued" to the top itself in a small area. Does anyone know what is the proper adhesion used to re-attach the glass to the top itself? What was used from the factory?

Re: convertible top and back glass separation

My neighbor has a similiar experience & attempted the repair himself. Ended up going to a body/upholstery shop.

Can't help with the glue type.

Re: convertible top and back glass separation

I just sold a '70 Coup De Ville with that problem ... my Vette has T-Top's
but the Cadillac had a back panel with the window heat set into it that could be replaced.

If the top is really nice - get a shop to replace the rear panel - if not

Just get a new one!
