Low speed Aux fan not working

88 735il

No fan operation at what point on the gauge does the hi spped fan cut on?
No fan operation with compresor on.

I have checked the fan works bypassed: Replaced the fan sensor and temp-2 sensor, coolent sensor works.
I have checked both relays hi and low both have voltage and fuses are good. It seems like the resistor maybe the issue I will check that today.

I never let the car heat up over 1/2 way which maybe why the hi speed fan does not come on unless bypassed.

Does anyone know what value resistor is?

Re: Low speed Aux fan not working

I was just going to say, sounds like a resistor failure...but you've already figured that out.
