No, its not mine. I've only done Ferrari and Triumph TRS masters so far.

Re: 1/24 Ferrari 250GTE

Almost ready...

Body has now received all missing trim lists, openings for the PE engine cooling vents and headlight buckets. There is still some rough spots to sand and primer, but all shapes and details are IMO there.

All interior parts i need are also done, rest will come from Fujimi GTO and my PF Coupe:

Interior seems to fit quite well:

I still need to do the taillights and exhausts.

Very nice work! I never thought much of the GTE's until this thread. Because the real ones were so "cheap" no one ever took care of them and they were always really ratty looking. Now, after seeing restored examples on the net I appreciate them a lot more.

How do you get photo-etch from Eduard. Do you email them a CAD file and some money? Then they slow-mail you a stack of photo-etch frets?

GTE's are not that cheap anymore, they've more or less doubled on value in less than ten years.

I get PE from Eduard just the way you described

Great work on the master. The GTE and 250GT prices have been falling. Alot of people spent a small fortune restoring them as values rose. Now they are going to eat any profit for atleast several years(maybe forever).

Re: 1/24 Ferrari 250GTE

I received the kit !
I'm very glad to have, it's a unique opportunity to get the 250 GTE in 1/24, and Nikko has done a tremendous work. Congratulations and many thanks.

Now a word on AirTrax...
I'm very disappointed by the quality of the moulding... holes and bubbles everywere (seat, body, chassis...) I paid this transkit 120 euro. I need to buy a Fujimi 250 GTO to complete the transkit : 35 euro approximately. Total 155 euro (around 200 USD). For the same price you can get by any resin manufacturer a complete kit of much higher quality with less preparation work. Again, I'm very satisfied to have this unique kit but I would have thought of a much better quality for the price asked. in addition, I will have to buy one or 2 additionnal putty tubes !

Re: 1/24 Ferrari 250GTE

hallo nikko,

impressive work on some unheard of ferraris in the model kits' arena.

mind if i ask if you know this airtrax company does have a website? or do they make resin copies of bumpers or cigarette boxes like those small parts you used in your creations?

please advise & i may need quite a number of these small resin parts for my ferraris too.

thankx in advance & keep up those good works!
