B18A Questions
Alright, I found a B18A localy for 750$ (cnd) for the engine, transmission and clutch. ( no distributors, no starter) I can get the wire harness and ECU though for an other 100$
now other than B-series mounts, what else would I need ?

shift linkage, unless you can weld..... but its better to get shift linkage.....

Shift linkage, you need to modify your exhaust to accept the header from the B18a, Axels. Thats about it if you get the wire harness and ECU. While the motor is out you may want to do a timing belt, water pump, clutch and make sure that all the seals are good.

what axels and what shifter linkage.
I was planning on doing a Mild build on the engine and a visual inspection of the transmission.

For the shift linkage i would get the B18a and cut about 2 inches out of it and weld it up.....yes any B-series header will fit......get the B18a axels their the cheapest. Welding is the best part of a swap, you get to get custom on things. I refuse to buy motor mounts, i make my own....once again the welder comes into play. I always tell people yeah i can do anything i have a grinder and a welder.

if like most of us your not that good with a welde, www.hasport.com sells the mounts and the linkage you need. i'm looking at doing something like that in the spring.

oh yeah make sure you get a header that's long enough. b16 and 18 blocks are different heights. and then you can sell me your mpfi

i have a spare MPFI from my D16A6 I can sell,
(90 si) ECU, Intake manifold, injectors, Fuel Rail, Partial wire harness, The trhottle body is broken and you will need an resistor box. how much is it worth to you ?
