94 trans am overheated?

I was sitting in traffic on a hot day. The temperature of the engine was getting hot, but not high enough to turn the fan on and then the engine just cut out. I got a tow home and now it will not start. As I was waiting for the tow, the engine did start, but lost oil pressure right away. I checked the oil level and it is full. Now after sitting for a few days, when I initially turn the key, the oil pressure gauge doesn't even move. As I continue to crank over the engine, the gauge starts to go up like I am pumping up a tire and the engine doesn't start. I do have a leak in my water pump that I haven't had before. It looks like it is coming out of the little 1/8 in hole/indentation on the bottom side of the pump. This is the least of my worries, easy to fix. What could be the cause of the engine not starting?

Turns out the connection between the fuel pump and the body of the car is bad.

Cool, but none the less, the water pump is leaking on the distributer, only a matter of time before it becomes a problem.
