i really think u are right about this..this last week we had 90 degree temps out and the check engine light stayed off..first rainy day came and it came back on....make sense to u jcat??

is this the check valve u are talking about? i noticed one on each side of the engine and they do come off the air pump and go into the exaust manifolds..let me know thank you very much.

yes ! and make sure you use two open end wrenches only rotate the check valve ...hold the piping steady ...

What part do i ask for when i go to the parts store..the guy at the local kragon is an idiot...and at napa i'm sure they'd have to order it lol..so where did you get yours at?

advance auto has them or the dealership...the dealer wants 20.oo ea..advance auto is cheaper but lower quality ...

they would be called secondary air injection check valve..you must do both ,,but remember you may have to replace the pump as well. water entering the pump does kill it ...

see if the check valves fix it first ..
