Hole in Firewall?

1997 Chev K1500 4x4 350 extended cab,

Looking for a hole in my firewall to run two wires for a remote starter (Tach and hood pin).

Would rather not drill. Where do you guys have wires ran through your firewall?

from inside the vehicle removal of the floor coverings in the brake pedal area should reveal a rubber plug in the firewall behind the pedal ...with an sharp pointed steel point make a small hole to run wires when done use a flexible sealant like dow 795 ...
