PI swap
I am doing a PI swap to my 96 GT, but im still looking for decent prices on 3 of the parts. Still in need of the Water pump nipple,coolant tube and Cam bolts. Can anyone suggest a good place to get these parts?

I got my manifold swap kit here. See the PI Intake Manifold Swap Kit for $300. That kit is for Panther platform (Crown Vics and the like). The only part you should contact him to make sure it'll fit is the coolant tube, although I'm fairly certain it will fit just fine. Only extra thing I had to get was the coolant for the swap.
I have yet to swap the cams.

I have already gotten all the parts except those three. I will also be doing the head swap and was wondering if it would be worth my time and effort to drop the motor to make things a little more easy. any thoughts?

Ahh, well you can try asking Chris at ADTR anyway. I'm fairly certain he can sell the tube and nipple separately and at a reasonable price. You'll probably have to go to the dealer to get the bolts, however. I trust you're using all new head bolts too, as they are TTY.
Everyone I says says to pull the motor to do the head job. Presumably if absolutely necessary it can be done in the car, but it will require the brake booster and part of the A/C system to be removed at the minimum which makes for just as much work, if not more than pulling the engine. The starter and power steering pump will have to be removed as well of course. While you're at it, check the timing chain guides and tensioners. Not sure what year the Mustangs got the plastic ones, but since you'll have easy access to them, if they look worn (whether steel or plastic), replace them.

Yeah i haven't looked at it to closely yet but i was thinking even just to get the exhaust manifolds off it would be easier to have the engine out. Any tips as to what I have to make sure to disconnect to lower it out? I really dont want to miss something and be screwed.
