Re: Mitsubishi late-90's evolutions

The other evos are also getting close to completion.
All factory mitsu colors, phoenix red and reims blue.
Missing headlights, taillights, side markets, rear wing assembly, washer nozzles on evo 4, 5, 6. Seems like not so much left but building 3 cars at once in the same pace is no piece of cake.
The bumpers gave me some headache as well since the epoxy glue didnt hold up well on 2k clear, and the chassis kept knocking the bumpers off while I try to clip them together.

Thanks guys!

Yes indeed, I live in the NE side of the city....or to be more accurate in 1/24 scale, it would be in the city of coventry hills in the province of calgary.

They look sexy! Maybe try scraping the paint off until you see plastic on the attachment points. Plastic to plastic is always stronger.

Re: Mitsubishi late-90's evolutions

Awesome line up, I can't wait to see them all together. Hey have you considered these wheels for the tme?

btw if anyone else is considering getting seats or the front bumper from kaho, i got my seat really quickly after i ordered it from him. the bumper, imo looks way better than the Renaissance version. Thanks again!

Re: Mitsubishi late-90's evolutions

Getting pretty close to finishing up now, just the license plates, some paint touchup, and the panel lines. Should be done within one more day. I have made some 16~17 inch wedsports for the evo 4 but the rods broke off while trying to install them, so the original rims will stay on until I find a way to secure the rods on the new wheels again.

Thanks jla for the compliments on the bumpers and seats! Glad to know that you liked them.
