No problem.. Well, TS-71 to me is not suitable for the rims. But i have seen people used it for the rims. I would suggest you to find something similar but in the end its just personal preference.

i forgot to tell that i am doing the stock r35, not the amuse version.
did you paint the stock one with gun metal as well?

i am looking right now at the tamiya spray catalog and found that the x-10 gun metal is there also in spray (TS-38 gun metal), i think they are the same color.

so i guess i'll buy the spray gun metal for rims and lips. i would really like to use spray paint on external surfaces to get a more realistic effect.

Yes i paint them with gunmetal as well. But anyway, just for your info, TS-38 gun metal is different from the enamel X-10 because the metallic particles in the TS38 is way larger than enamel paints, even though their color maybe close.
